Its never the same

Its never the same when I'm with you. That smile I can't resist. I can't get enough. You feed me berries as though they are medicine for my insides. You are always bringing presents not like actual physical things but gifts from.another place. From another life I've never known. Its feels good. Its feels safe with you. I dont want this to ever end. I can't liken the feeling to anything else. I brush my hair and wipe your mouth. Its beautiful being with you. The insides of me are the same as the inner of you. We look different but we are the same. It works. Its plain and simple. But there is nothing plain and simple about you. I like the fact I can make jokes and hide my face away from you. My smile is showing beyond this place. My smile is big enough for those to see who are not able to reach it.

The sense that something new is emerging comes thick and fast. We are settling in, nesting and getting ready for her to arrive. She is holding my hand in my dreams and I know she is on the way. The right time is always the right time. You never know but yet you do. I can see you from a far and see beyond the words which you speak. I am dreaming often these days. Someone once took my dreams away and replaced them with empty nights filled with nothing other than the feeling of being frozen like stuck in the bottom of the river unable to speak. This is long gone now and I reach for you. My voice is heard and understood in ways beyond everything I imagine. We are holding each other enough to be free and I am always holding your heart in my hands, it's safe with me. Im safe with you. Run in the distance and call my name. I will hear you there always. Tomorrow is home to me. Tomorrow comes again and again.

They bring me back to you...

It so simple... yet I always forget. It's silly some how that all the things I've built up over the years can disappear in an instant. I'm conscious of my thoughts drifting away from that which is real. Too easily this can happen... The birds... The beautiful birds are singing.  They are calling to me. They bring me back, they bring me back to you and I can't run away any more. I'm sorry I've been running all my life and now my darling I'm back, back in your arms!
